What we check

• Works and is safe: the site loads, opens securely (https), the security certificate is valid, and standard security settings are in place.
• Phones: the page fits the screen, text is readable, buttons are easy to tap, and a visitor can see what you do and how to reach you without scrolling.
• Speed: how fast the main content shows on a phone (measured with Google's free PageSpeed tool), and photos that are bigger than they need to be.
• Search basics: page titles and descriptions, main headings, search settings, and services written in text search and AI tools can read.
• Local details: your name, address and phone match on your site, Google and Facebook, and your Google listing links to your site.
• Getting in touch: tap-to-call links and a contact form that is labelled and reaches you. We never send test messages through your form; we check it with you.
• Accessibility basics: color contrast, image descriptions, form labels, keyboard use and visible focus, checked against WCAG 2.2 AA.
• Upkeep: broken links, an old copyright year, a missing privacy page or error page, and missing share previews.

We only do what any visitor could do: normal page visits and free public tools. We never log in or scan your site for weak spots.

How it works

   If you want the full picture, we check up to 10 pages and send a plain-English report with a fixed price for each fix.

3. 3You pick the fixes

   Choose a package, or none. You approve the list of changes before we start, and we back up your site first.

Packages and prices

The Full Audit Report is paid up front. Fix packages are half to start and half when done, and include 2 rounds of changes. Each package covers up to 10 pages.

Rush (within 5 business days): 25% more, at least $99, paid first. Larger work is $75 an hour, quoted first. The audit fee is not taken off later fixes; the bundle is the discount.

What you receive

• A plain-English report (PDF) with phone and computer screenshots, speed results dated the day we checked, and a fix list from most to least important.
• A fixed price for each fix or package, so you know the cost before any work starts.
• After fixes: a short handover note with before-and-after screenshots and speed results.

What we can and can't do

• Audit reports.
• Fixes on simple sites we can edit directly: titles and descriptions, mobile layout, image size, broken links, contact form and tap-to-call, and basic accessibility fixes.
• Local SEO Cleanup: guidance plus fixes on your own site. You log in to your own Google Business Profile.

Limits we tell you up front

• Wix, Squarespace and WordPress sites: speed and mobile fixes depend on what the platform allows, so we quote them case by case.
• No WordPress plugin work we can't test.
• Accessibility Basics fixes common problems. It is not a legal compliance audit, and we never claim a site meets the law.
• Moving hosting or changing domains needs a separate quote. You keep ownership of all your accounts.
• No promises about search rankings or traffic.
• Some checks are done by hand: speed scores, color contrast, contact forms, your Google listing and how clear your wording is.

When a new site makes more sense

If fixes would cost more than a new site, or the platform itself is the problem, we will say so. A new Main Door Web site is $59, $119 or $199 a month with $0 setup on a 12-month plan, or a one-time build of $599, $1,499 or $2,499. See Pricing.

How much does a website audit cost?

The Full Audit Report is $329. Fixes are fixed-price packages: Tune-Up $349, Local SEO Cleanup $399, Mobile + Speed Fix $499, Accessibility Basics $599, or all four as a Full Rescue for $1,199. The Full Audit Report plus the Tune-Up is $629.

Can you fix a Wix, Squarespace or WordPress site?

Often, yes. Some fixes depend on what the platform allows, so we quote those case by case. We don't do WordPress plugin work we can't test.

Will Accessibility Basics make my site legally accessible?

No one can honestly promise that. Accessibility Basics fixes common problems toward the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines. It is not a legal compliance audit. If you have received a legal letter, talk to an attorney and a specialist auditor.

Do I have to give you my passwords?

No. You invite us to your own account as a user or collaborator, or share your screen, and you remove our access at the end. You keep ownership of your domain, hosting and Google Business Profile.
