Terms of service

These terms explain how working with Main Door Web works. By approving a site and starting a plan, you agree to them.

1. Free preview

• The preview is free. There is no card and no deposit.
• If you don't want to go ahead, you owe nothing and we delete the preview.
• The preview design stays ours unless you go ahead with a plan.

2. Plans and payment

• Plans and prices are listed on the Pricing page. Your plan and price are confirmed in writing (by email) before launch.
• Nothing is charged until you approve your site. Your first monthly payment is due at launch, then monthly after that.
• On a 12-month plan the setup fee is $0. The plan starts on your launch date. After 12 months it continues month to month at the same price until you cancel. It never renews for another 12 months.
• On a month-to-month plan, a one-time setup fee is due at launch.
• We will tell you at least 30 days before any price change.

3. Refunds and cancelling

• If you aren't happy in the first 30 days after launch, tell us and we refund your first payment.
• After that, you can cancel any time by email. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• If you leave a 12-month plan before 12 months, you pay part of the setup fee that was waived, prorated for the months left and never more than $299. There is no other penalty.

4. Edits

• Each plan includes a number of small edits a month (for example new hours, a new photo, a price change). Unused edits don't roll over.
• Larger changes or extra pages are quoted first, and we only do them if you say yes.

5. Who owns what

• Your domain and Google Business Profile are registered in your name and are yours.
• Your content (your business name, logo, photos and wording you give us) stays yours.
• The site design is licensed to you while your plan is active. If you buy it out, it is yours to keep.

6. Your part

• Give us accurate information and only content you have the right to use.
• Complete any verification steps that only you can do, such as Google's Business Profile verification.

7. What we don't promise

• We don't promise any search ranking, number of visitors or number of calls.
• We work to keep your site online, but we can't promise it will never be down, for example during a hosting provider outage.
• Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months.

8. Changes and contact
